yes Mike those ramps are amazing, need to make some I think

if not too much trouble, any chance you could advise on their dimensions

I only took one picture of the underneath to show what it looks like without the exhaust or fuel tank. It's not too bad under there, but I want to make a decent job of it before it gets too cold and I lose interest in the detail.

Love those ramps. B)
Any pics of the underside as it is now?

Thanks,

They aren't mine, I'm working on it at my mates workshop. He has lots of cool stuff, that I'm borrowing. I've no idea of the dimensions, but I will find out for you. They are heavy, we used a forklift to shift them around, but I'm sure you could use a couple of castor wheels under them when you want to move them. They are angle iron and the runners that they wheels run up are just old long bolts. They have made life a lot easier for me doing this work.

Ooooh it looks like you are doing the right thing - looks very salvageable. B)
Those ramps might be a bit too heavy for me at my age. :(
I have a set of extra wide jacking ramps. They use a scissor mechanism and I use an airline wrench to move them up or down. The ramp part is detachable so you can get better access if needs be. ;)

To be honest with you, even at my age they are a bit heavy :D I'm thankful that I'm allowed to use a space at a mates workshop to do all this stuff. He has a very heavy industrial approach to things, hence the ramps. I guess it's ok providing you have the room to store huge steel structures. perhaps if you could cut the large ramps into sections and have them assemble easily with locking pins, that might be a better solution. Being able to prop the jimny up at that angle and take the axle off is very helpful.

That's a neat set of ramps you have there. I like that you can vary the height accordingly.
