Thanks for your reply!

Fuel pressure at priming is 50psi give or take. I have recently replaced the pump in the tank as well as the pressure regulator on the fuel rail.

Blocked fuel pipe is it getting fuel at the injectors that's a tough one

OK, so an update-

Removed all of the tape covering the wiring harness and checked continuity of all of the wiring within, all checks good. Pins on ECU correspond with the service manual and have the correct voltage and earths. Replaced all fuses just in case and rechecked the relays for function. There is a relay taped to the wiring harness just above the fuse box under the dash - any idea what this is for?

Not sure what to do next.

What are the colour codes of the wires? Using that you might be able to pinpoint what the relay is for.
Try putting the original ecu back in.
