What effect will the extra tyre size have on the car performance, I note from a different thread, that some said he was only getting 70mpg to half a tank of fuel. Anther thread on a different forum said the car would not drive normally, and lots more gear changes were require. :ohmy:

It's not that bigger jump in size that it will make that much difference but you will be raising the overall gearing a little so it won't accelerate quite as quickly and will take a bit more effort to get up to speed. It will therefore use a bit more fuel.

As to how much extra fuel not sure as I can't remember what a standard Jimny is like!

I don't think it will be catastrophic.

Hopefully someone who runs the same configuration will tell you soon.
