Better cooling for the Jimny? was created by Tomhorntoad
Jimny runs hot when driven for long distances at speed. I've had a water pump and coolant change and cleaned out the rad. But is there a upgrade or something I can do?

If the rads in decent nic it shouldn't overheat, might me worth checking out the thermostat, maybe not fully opening? I've never come across an updated direct fit jimny rad, if there is guess someone here will know! Otherwise you could put an oil cooler on it. Ebay sell cheap universal ones, not sure how good they might be.

They shouldn't overheat unless something isn't working as it should. Check the thermostat and change the temperature sensor and radiator cap. It won't be anything major.
