They're all available cheaply enough too. Why go making what you can buy so cheaply? Look on bits4vits website or in the BigJimny shop.

Just buy the right ones for the car.

All the cars mentioned weigh a similar amount to the Jimny, and front Jimny springs on the rear is pretty straight forward. It's really not a big issue mixing and matching springs. Plenty of people are driving around on pro-comp shocks that aren't particularly suitable for the jimny, but they fit and are cheap and are sold by some of our forum buddies, so that's fine right?

Who that is qualified to do so says that Pro Comp are not particularly suited? They're not the best in the world, granted but it's a different story to fitting far too firm springs. Fitting far too firm springs and ill matched shocks could end up with a very poor handling car. Front springs are firmer as they carry the weight of the engine so on the rear they will lift the car further but could result in you bouncing down the road and will flex less off road making you more likely to tip over.

The spring rate front and rear is the same, just the front springs are longer. The Samara is lighter than the Jimny, so if anything the springs will be softer. Perfect for more flex! Most aftermarket lift springs have a higher spring rate, supposedly to compensate for extra weight of kit a lot of us don't carry. But as you say, this reduces flex and makes them bounce down the road uncontrollably....

I should have added in the extra detail about where I am from, it is because of this that ordering almost anything involves paying double what u guys pay due to our exchange rate then include shipping then when it gets into my country duties and tax make it a task. I'm on a budget that's all I'm saying, so if the best option is to buy spring kit it won't be from online and rather from a local source if I can ever find one

Where are you from?
Don't you have a local ARB dealer perhaps?
