Question about Springs and lift was created by Fabysorg
Hey everyone does anyone know if they are any stock Springs that lift the Jimny? Example vitara Springs etc even if it's a 1.5 lift I would be satisfied until later. I drive a 99 model.

I know someone who used Astra springs and merc springs and shocks off something else and ended up with around a 4" lift which drove surprisingly well! I'll see if I can find the list of stuff he used

Just buy springs made for the Jimny. They will be the right length, diameter and poundage to make your car drive safely rather than just give it the required lift but be too hard/soft etc.
It would also create an insurance claim nightmare if you tried to explain to an insurance assessor your hotch potch miss match of springs.

About insurance. I think it's the same to them whether you get astra /lada or the usual jimny bits springs. You'll need some sort of approval for it to matter. Like TÜV which only trail master and old Man emu provides.
