I've seen a lot more wombles than wombats, wombles are native to the U.K. :laugh:
If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

I used white lithium spray grease on my hinges. I put a rag around the hinge area to catch as much of the spatter as I could and gout the straw as close the the hinge joints as possible and worked around it. Work the door open and close a few times and wipe off the excess. The hinges on mine weren't stiff this was just a preventative Meade on my part.
