Has anyone got any tips on how to get the centre flexible exhaust joint (the one with springs) to seal.
it has a new stainless steel sealing ring installed but will not stop blowing from the joint.

Did you apply the gasket paste when assembling? White stuff in a tube that hardens when hot.

No, I did not apply any seal at all. The joint is spring loaded and designed to move so as far as I can see any sealant would crumble away?

I've never used sealant in those, They normally blow for a bit then coke up and seal.
