I have finally got to the end of my search of how and where do you fit (as in where do all the cables interface)front fog lights to a Jimny. Suzuki actually supply/used to supply a kit(£190 odd) which contained two looms(one for the engine, one for the switch) the lights and bezels to mount into the bumper, a switch, relay, fuse and various other screws, ties etc. Oh, and a fitting instruction leaflet in various languages. The engine loom contains the relay and the fuse and the light connectors. It says in the instructions to mount the relay and fuse in the main fuse box but that is physically impossible! The low power feed for the relay is from a lone bullet connector (green/red)right on the RH side of the bulkhead and the power feed to the relay is taken directly from a feed that piggybacks off the positive terminal of the battery to the relay.
The switch loom has the switch assembly connector which has the five wires coming out of it.(The five wires in a switch was a bit of a puzzle at first as you only normally need one in,cut and join it to each of the 2 connectors, then goes out again. But because of the interface with the headlamps there is a coil in the switch to hold the switch at "on" when main beam is selected when the fog lights would be switched off automatically. When dip is then selected the fogs then come on automatically) The pink cable goes to a single bullet connector (green/red)again by the bulkhead, RH side. The two black cables are joined into one and is mounted to the cars side wall (I used the speaker mounting bolt) and the blue and brown cables are joined and spliced into the red/yellow cable coming out of the 18 pin blue connector by the firewall RH side. I found this out by going to the local dealer and he remembered he had a couple of kits in stock. Well actually he had 2 lots of bits of kits. No lights. But luckily the fitting instructions were there so I got a printed set of them. I had already got the switch and lights(£40) and bought the looms off ebay for £24. The relay came from Maplins for £3.29. I offered to take the remains of the old kits off their hands for a nominal sum but they wanted £30+VAT for the good(as in more in the box than the other) one when basically all you would get is the looms and a relay. So I declined! I wanted to fit the lights as stock as it interfaces with the main headlights dip/main switch as per the law. Doing it on a stand alone basis would probably have meant not taking that option. Apparently front fogs, like reverse lights are not tested during the MOT. Also car manufacturers are also wiring the front fogs as daylight running lights which I cannot believe they are allowed to do unless the lighting rules and regs have changed. Years ago the lens sizes of warning lights had to be of a certain minimum size but nowadays the indicator lenses are so small, especially at the front, that in daylight it is sometimes difficult to see if they are actually working! My search for all the relays on the car is still on going. At the moment I cannot find the rear fog light relay!

I might be wrong but I think the rear fog relay in incorporated into the button on the dash, I fitted my front fogs using a genuine button from Suzuki and then just used one of the switched lives on the wiring to trigger a aftermarket relay, I spent hours trying to figure out the factory fit wiring !! there seamed to be bits missing and not much info.

I'm in pretty much the same situation, please could you post the links to the Ebay looms that you mentioned (even if they are ended, it might help me somehow)?
I have the switch and the lights - in fact I thought they were wired and the bulbs had gone! Turns out, that the switch has no wiring to it at all, and the spots have wires/connectors coming out of them (all of which look authentic), but they just stop behind battery!
So I need to connect to switch, join the wires to the fogs and fit a relay I guess somewhere in between. So if you have the Ebay links to the looms that worked for you, that would be great thanks
Cheers,
Mark

My ebay item number for the harness was 360967547470 He relisted another and it went for £28. He has not relisted it again. As I mentioned in my story the main dealer here in Stoke has the remains of two complete kits the most complete of which had the harness plus relay and switch and they quoted me £30 +VAT. If you want I could get that for you and post it on to you if you want.

So I have finished the Jimny ready for the MOT tomorrow. The fog lights worked but not as I expected. I wired it in as per the instructions given with the Suzuki kits but although they switch on OK when I selected main beam they stayed on! I followed the instructions to the letter as well! Anyway no bother they are working and are wired correctly. Mounting the relay and the fuse holder to the existing under bonnet unit needed a bit of creative thinking but it came out neat and tidy and safe so all is well.
