Try using the Liana throttle body.

Are you using the 1.8 injectors, or just the larger fuel rail?

I recall that the injectors are a different colour and deliver more fuel per pulse on the bigger engines, then the jimmny ecu can cope.

If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there :)

i'm going to swap and use the liana fuel regulator and see if that makes a difference
I'veheard that the liana fuel regulator give too much fuel to the motor so i might need to chase 1 from a suzuki swift.

The Jimny and Liana FPRs give the same pressure, I'm pretty sure that you'll find that they all give the same pressure.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

I cannot see how a timing/mixture map for a 1.3 engine will suit a 1.8 engine.

The problem with manufacturers is that they can change the wiring connections between the same car and different years to the ECU, the MX5 being an example.

So you cannot always change them about.

Does the Jimny ecu allow itself to be remap'd?

Therefore I would be surprised if you can change them over between different cars but you never know.

I would think you will need a remap but that may be a long and expensive road to travel down or it may be easy.

Yes, it can be done through the diagnostic port if you know the 'password' or through the AUD interface on the PCB.
