I was wondering if there isn't a flexihead brush that could be used. I don't fancy flushing mine out with loads of water.

With my Delica,
I removed the headlamps, put them in a quite warm oven then managed, carefully to split he 'glass' from the rest of the unit. Cleaned them up, cleaned where they were 'glued' then stuck them back together after cleaning all the gunge out.
Not able to look at the Jim's at the moment but couldn't the same be done with them?

As Johnnie says, whip the bulbs out and clean them like that? I'm guessing that's where the water gets in in the first place.

I used this
www.amazon.co.uk/Meguiars-PlastX-Plastic...sh-296/dp/B0000AY3SR
I got it for my soarer a few years ago and thought i would give it a shot on the jimny. It's a night and day difference. Have to put a little bit of elbow grease in but after about 5 minutes of polishing they look pretty much like new. Do this every month or so and it keeps them shiny
. I can post pictures if required.
