I reckon for now, I'll upgrade to some 215/75R15 MTs, get the lift kit at a later date, then upgrade to the 235s.

How will I know if I need to fit castor correction bushes?

And theres still the issue of what t-case kit exists that will run 235s without the additional strain on the clutch and gears.

generally people fit rocklobster transfer box's but not sure if they are available for your newer jimny, you can get reduction gears but the same applies not sure if they are available for the newer jimnys.

you may have issues fitting 215 75 15's, some say they fit no issues on the newer jimnys some say they rub..........bit of a grey area.

regarding caster, the steering wont self center properly if the caster is wrong.

Hopefully someone who has a newer model can advise me on the t-case issue.

According to my tyre-suppliers (Bob Jane T-Marts), 215/75R15s should fit without a problem - again if anyone can confirm or deny this, please do.

Regarding the caster, I have a RTC dampener - with that already on would I still need the casters?

like i said some say they fit some say they dont, maybe they rub at full flex on full lock offroad whereas they are fine on road..................i dont know lol.

guessing thats a steering dampner with a spring on it? not sure if that would help tbh but i may be wrong.

I guess the easiest thing to do is just try it out and if it works great, if not, change something.

I'll put the 215s on next time I need a new set of tyres. If they dont rub, great, if they do, I'll lift it.

When I put the 235s on in the future I'll probs lift it again to 4" and trim the wheel arches if need be.

Regarding the t-case. Again, I guess I'll change it if I feel it needs doing.

Everything is trial and error :D

yea fit them and see how they go, some light trimming might be needed or as you say a lift.

you will definately need to do something regarding gearing when you fit the 235s in the future or youll go through clutches in no time.
