I run 215/75/15 BFG km2 on my Jimny with standard gearing
Also live in North Devon, do manage hills, but maybe a bit underpowered.
This I can live with due to their offroad ability!.
Think I live quite near you in Barnstaple, you are welcome to have a drive and try for yourself

hi mike , yeah i'm just outside bideford but work in barnstaple. i'd love to come and have a look to see what its like with the km2's on. to be fair there isn't a load of difference between the 215 and 195's so it shouldn't suffer too much, and maybe the underpowered thing is more correct. i have never driven a jimny with standard wheels and tyres. i'll message you my mobile number. cheers rob

Just ordered a set of BFG KM2s at 215/75/R15 which should arrive in 2 weeks (bloody Jersey shipping....)
I currently run on 197/80/R15s Insa Turbo Sarahas but they are badly worn so i dont notice much difference
Also i have not driven a Jimny of the standard 205s so i cant compare

Grabber AT2 215/75 here.
MPG did drop quote a bit, but overall running isn't too bad.
Some steeper hills may have been a 4th, and are now a 3rd gear, but it's not causing any serious issues.
