Yes, handbrake "on"
Put it in 2-th gear and/or block the front wheels.
Loosen (a little bit) the bolts from both back wheels, jack the Jimny up and secure it with two standards on the rear.
Then undo the bolts completely and take your wheels off.
Very IMPORTANT now to put your handbrake "OFF" !!!
Try if you can wiggle the brake drum loose with your hands.
If the brake drum isn't coming loose doing like this then you have two holes where you can put a M8 bolt in it, gently and alternately turn the screws in until you do have build up some tension, normally the brake drums are popping loose doing like this.
If this fails put some more tension without forcing to much, take a rubber hammer and give the brake drum from different sides (12, 3, 6, 9) some strokes after every stroke you can try to put some more tensions on the bolts.
Normally this helps.
Then gently take the brake drum off, don't ever pull your handbrake on whilst the brake drum is off !!!
Take the two M8 bolts out of the brake drum and clean and degrease your brake drums.
If you see your brake shoes are very thin then change them with new ones.
Once cleaned gently put back your brake drums without forcing, you could damage your brake shoes!
Good luck.
EDIT :
Guardian Angel had give you already the answer i see.
To adjust your handbrake see the Jimny manual section : BRAKES Section 5-14 and 5-15.
Succes !

After a muddy offroad session I always clean my drums out.
My rear shoes last a year that way rather than 3 months.

I'm so glad I don't go out in the mud
. There is a weedy design attempt to keep the muck out but you'd think it would have been designed better.
