Surely this contradicts what youve said above?
"Incorporating "Velocity Sensitive Valving" technology, these shocks utilize a 10-stage variable valving process that helps facilitate resistance valving incorporated in the shock according to piston rod speed." Taken from the martins shop.

No. What that means is there is variation in damping depending on the speed at which the load is applied not where on the travel of the damper the load is applied.

Surely hitting a large rock will cause the shock to move uowards faster than hitting a small stone so does this mean the shock then becomes harder on rough terrain?would it be the same if you threw it into a corner on road over gently turning in as the car will lean faster so the shock becomes harder? Sorry if this all sounds stupid just trying to get my head round it
Are caster correction bushes needed on a 2" lift? I see they come with the ora 2" lift kit.

Don't know about jimny bushes but land rover tend to be ok without correction on 2inch.
You have it about right with dampers. Essentially they're a tube filled with oil acted upon by a piston through a valve arrangement. Imagine a plastic syringe full of water, if you apply gentle pressure the water comes out as th piston moves, the faster you push the more the water squirter effect. However if you try to move the piston too fast the water can't escape quickly enough and you feel a large resistance to the force you apply. Dampers are the same except the system is closed and instead of squirting the oil away it is being moved from one side of the valve to the other so as to make it double acting. Obviously the technology is way more refined but the principles are the same.

Not at all.
I'm talking about how much the shock is compressed. The text you refers to mentions the speed of the compression. Like when going fast over small bumps and such. With fast, but short travel of the shock.
And don't get me wrong. The RC N2.0 is a great shock for the money. But there's natural limit to how much technology you get in a cheap shock. If you want shocks that work in the way you describe, you'll need to spend much more money.
