Can you please help with turning off the blinking 4WD 4L light . I had a broken rubber tube and couldn't select 4WD before and got it replaced with the new one and everything is perfectly working fine when you select 4WD and 4L, only thing I can not solve is the flashing 4WD and 4L indicators start flashing and keep on flashing while just standing or in drive mode, I checked the rubber tubes if there are all fitted well, everything is all well fitted, got underneath the car and checked several times. I tried to disconnect the battery of the car but the flashing still comes back on after a few second and then it dissapears and then flashes on. It is very annoying when you drive.
My guess is there could be some reset button somewhere just to turn off the indicator after installing the rubber tubes.
Anyone had a similar problem, if possible please help providing step by step procedures. I read some articles about blanking off the light etc., I don't think it is something that is related to this issue.
Thanks all for the help,

Slight hijack here but I removed my vac ones and fitted manual hubs but have never had the faintest idea of how to stop the lights flashing and remain full on when in FWD.

That is easy.
If you look under the battery, there is a birdsnest of rubber pipes and the two vacuum valves. There is a round switch with two wires on attached to one of the pipes near the valves. Join the wires together.
Then there is a pipe leading from the manifold to this birdsnest. Blank it off at the manifold with a rubber cap.
If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

Right, thanks............I'm on it tomorrow. And if I bung a ball bearing in that tube that should do perhaps??
