Use a plumb bob
Tie the plumb bob to the chassis near where the panard bolts so it hangs on the inside of the chassis and messure from the center of the panard rod bolt to the string and see what it messures in mm and this will tell you if that mount is out of alinement and ill messure it on mine and see what the difference is
Also messure from the center of the panard rod bolt on the axle to the trailing arm bracket on tue other side and ill do the same and see if that is bent at all

I'm confused at the plumb bob diagnosis. Is that just a piece of metal with a string attached? Or an actual piece of equipment you can buy.

Both, you could use a washer on a bit of string but Poundland do the actual plumb lines so it's cheap as chips anyway.Reckerr wrote: Is that just a piece of metal with a string attached? Or an actual piece of equipment you can buy.

Sorry to revive, I sold the Jimny... Replaced the Half shaft of the axle before selling and that cleared the wobble 100%. The offset in the axle was still there however. I bought a car and decided to try that but no..after a year of 17" rims and 2 sets of front shocks..I want a little jimny again. Will update when I get one.
