Max speed 100km/h and loosing power after 3000rpm was created by Nikola66661

I Brought a Jimny a week ago from an old lady(age 65) and was thinking that the car is lazy cos she was driving slow (I assume)
I try to push it till max on the motorway.
Max speed was 100km/h (60miles) and the car was loosing power after 3000rpm (max that I could go was 5500rpm) and it changed the sound after 3000rpm
fuel consumption 12liter per 100km
Jimny 2001
engine 1,328 cc
100 000 miles
tyres 205/70 R15
manual gearbox

Try giving it a full service also take the cat off and see if its blocked and wash it out

Its it hard or soft top

Could also be cam or crank sensor breaking down does it feel like its missfiring

there is no misfire
but I got this when I bought a car and it looks to me that the Lambda is not working OK
