As a quick question, how complete do you want the kit to be?

i.e. how extensive can I assume your tool kits are. Specifically it needs a certain (but common) sized drill bit and it also needs a Tap Tool (I will be including the correct sized taps with the kit).

A tap tool is shown below....

Martin

2003 M13 early KAP build.
3" Trailmaster lift with 1.5 Spacers on front
Customised winch bumper and roll cage
235/85R16 Maxxis Bighorns on 16" Rims, 4:1 Rocklobster, Rear ARB locker and on-board air
Corrected arms all-round, rear disks, Recaro seats and harnesses

Loving the look of this kit but surely swarf will end up in the box from tapping the hole?

Inevitably swarf is generated and I am clear about this in the instructions.

Fortunately the drill takes the bulk outside the box.

I recommend you combine the activity with an oil change.

I also include a picture in the instructions that shows the swarf generated in an SJ box.

The SJ box has a protective internal lip underneath the breather that catches the swarf, here it is to the left of the picture. However this lip is generally covered in bits and dirt (to the right) which must have got there in general operation of the transfer box. It is pretty fine aluminum swarf so I think the effect is minimal.

Do you need to / can you tap all 4 cases without removing / dropping the axles / t-box / gearbox? If not it seems to make it a pretty big job to fit?
