Bits4Vits transfer box mounts - any good?

OK, so I have attempted to fit these tonight using the configuration Dave has posted, but unfortunately they don't fit. First the bolt is too short, and even if it were long enough, the chassis TB mount would foul the TB mount, as shown below by the yellow line (its a bad photo, sorry).



So I set them up like the old mounts as shown here:



I'll see how they go. I can't see how this is going to be a problem, but maybe someone can correct me!

I also fitted my new TB guard!

that how i have mine fitted - they've been in now for 2yrs - never had any problems with them ...

thst how mine are aswell for the same reson...... the mount touches the chassis. :lol:

I have driven around a bit since fitting these and my TB guard. I have noticed a bit more noise from underneath at lower revs (like a very low buzzing noise), so either I have not done the bolts up tight enough, or the fact its different rubber mounts, or that the TB guard is deflecting more noise back through the floor from the TB.

I can't feel any physical vibration as such, and it goes away once the engine has got going. I will of course check the mounts tonight, but I don't want to over tighten them for fear of quashing and splitting the rubbers.

So my question is, should I expect a marked difference in noise?
