Whilst I couldn't double use my no claims bonus on the Jimny, my insurance company "awarded" me full no claims on the Jimny based on the no claims I had on my other two cars with them

We use a local broker for all our products, farm related or personal and whilst they are possibly a bit dearer than going direct we also have the facility of having them deal with any issues for us such as finding suitable policies or handling claims. We do this because of the time saving compared with messing around sorting all the policies needed to run a business, we could waste days doing everything separately.

That was lucky Martin. I went to my existing insurance company first, they were a long way off the mark, but had been giving me a good quote and coverage on my other car.
Since I haven’t had a claim this century, my Jimny insurance with zero no claims is slightly more than my Porsche Boxster, but is still less than £200 fully comp, so I am not complaining.

Insurance companies will only value car SZ5 at list price and they then as normal depreciate it heavily, so if total loss big hit for so called insured owner to replace. So just rang gap insurance companies and whilst acknowledging prices have gone up they will Not cover this increase. Mention as Lightning suggested gap. Thanks though.

Well LV insurance have come good for me again. Got my renewal through and it had gone up by £1.78. Must admit I was pretty pleased it had only gone up that much. A quick check on Compare the Market and LV were quoting £70 cheaper.
A quick phone call later and they have matched that, no problem

Renewal time.I'm with LV, I was with them for previous car when I got my GEN4 and just swapped it over. I have since declared each Mod, KC Spot Lights, all under body protection, front and rear recovery points and suspension lift. Not once have they increased premium or wanted any admin fee for the updates.
