I once had a new alfa romeo delivered with all the (asymmetric) tyres rotating the wrong way. It was also missing the ariel and fuel filler cap. I think they skipped the pdi altogether.

That's impressive. I have had a Honda Civic returned to me after a service with the oil warning light on, that made me happy.

Down here if a customer on the forecourt was to pull a tyre pressure gauge out of his pocket, then check the tyres and ask for them to be adjusted, he would be treated to a set of loose wheel nuts on his return visit!! Just do it at home.
What a terrible attitude!

I once picked up my Fiesta XR2 ( bought new, loved it and owned for 13 years) from the local Ford dealer after a service and it wouldn’t move without horrendous grinding from the wheel bearings. They claimed it wasn’t them and was fine when they parked it. Had several issues with that dealer including regularly jacking it up via the floor pan and damaging the under seal so started going to another.
