Very true Lambert, but both the dealers I spoke to (pre lockdown) weren't interested

This thread worries me - Why does Suzuki take an inconsistent approach to TPMS on the same model of car (Jimny) and the same year of production (2019) for the same market (UK)? As I have previously posted - I have done the 5-tyre rotation twice now and reset the TPMS without any hassle whatsoever. I really feel for Bill, as he is only trying to follow recommended best practice and doesn't need or want hassle. If two Suzuki dealerships cannot be bothered to keep a customer happy - even more concerning.

When I had BFG KO2 tyres fitted they took all 5 wheels off at once. The chances they put them back on in order is pretty slim. When I drove out of the garage the TPMS lit up on the dash with a loud peeping noise. After driving about 100m it went off. Drove to local Tesco petrol station & set all tyres to 28psi. Just been out & checked my spare has TPMS valve. Hope this helps.

Suzuki dealers are evidently a very hit and miss bunch. My two local ones are not so bad but having ventured further afield they seem to be very patchy. In my Subaru days though every time I had a dealer interaction I was always treated as a valuable customer.
Temeraire (2018 quasar grey automatic)
One of the last 200ish of the gen3s, probably.

@Bob1050 and @grima
It must have been your posts that I'd read and thanks for your comments above.
Do you think I've not done something I should've?
Maybe I was too impatient and should have waited longer? It was probably at leat 1/2 hour between test drives, maybe it took that long for the 1st change to register, and needed longer for the 2nd to register? That could explain why the spare seemed to be OK during the 2nd test run.
@Bob1050 - you mentioned "reset" in your post above, was that something physical that you did?
The valve stem on the spare looks identical to the other 4 valves. Is that an indicator that it has a sensor?

I am no teck head, like I said car jacked up 5 wheels off one guy each side, wheels dumped at tyre swop machine then left for mr wheel balance who put them back on in the wrong order.I watched them do this hoping they wouldn't damage the new alloy wheels, never thought about TPMS. When the car started screaming at me as I drove it out, I asked how much PSI did you put in they said plenty? in Polish. Like I said after 100m car said tyres OK.
