It was a cracking day, really enjoyed it. The only damage to report was my ignition key... my knee hit it on the last big step out of Two Dales. £39 at Timpsons......
Two Dales was quite a challenge again but my little (45mm) lift and AT tyres aced it.
Found a few patches of ice in the early part of the day, the road sections were just as challenging as the lanes....
A big effort goes in to plotting and vetting the route, then doing such a great blog too. Thanks Maverick..
See you next month for Oldham and Holmefirth.

BTW
The "alien spaceships" are a Doppler VOR. a navigation point for aircraft
Many many years ago (1980) I worked on them.
