Mhhhh, thanks for the perspectives, this is a funny one tho hay? "Do not shift the transfer lever without depressing the accelerator pedal"

It says nothing about depressing the clutc when switching from 2H/4H/4L??

So is the consensus, that we should depress the clutch when switching from all transfer modes?

I follow your wise and mystical giuidance Lord Lambert :-) On another note, to my monkey mechanic mind, "air hubs" sound like something that could go very wrong, very easily. Hope I am wrong though...ekk!

Mine didn't make it to year 4. Since then I have had avm manual ones. Bit more effort but way more reliable and versatile. They allow me to run on the road in 4x2lo which is great for towing and manoeuvring trailers. It is possible to do this electronically on the gen3 as well as mechanically so I suspect that it is a modification in development for the gen4.
