Thats +1 from me regarding the Toyo Proxes T1-R.
I ran on Toyos some years ago and everything from wet grip to noise levels and wear-rate was really good; I couldnt fault them

You get use to it, went form a focus st to a 89 mini believe me that was a change in luxury but love it, less is more ;)

How about Bridgestone Potenza tires.
I had the Potenza re050a on my Subaru gtt turbo wagon. Amazing grip in al circumstances.

After the disappointment of the Bridgestone duelers I have prejudicially discounted them as a brand. I shall have a look.
