If it suddenly breaks, go back to the last thing that you did before it broke and start looking there

What was "disappointing" about the auto?

I'd be interesting in knowing this too, as that's what I've ordered. 3 speed box with overdrive button isn't it?

Thanks for this info, "Non-refundable deposits are most definitely not Suzuki GB policy, so any dealer asking for one should be told to cram it."
I have sort of ordered my wish list Jimny with a dealer today, but sad to say Ive had a few dealers say they want £1000 up front.
I would love to know how suzuki are going to allocate Jimnys, So far the only information is that the order book opens 1st January for dealers. But if they get a choice of colour or model is unknown.

The initial allocation of cars are already in the country at a shipping depot, so if your spec matches a car in that allocation, then some people might get lucky.

I would like to know that too. Usually peeps who drive manuals and are dedicated lovers of such find autos disappointing anyway. My Celerio uses a manual gearbox that is shifted by a "brain". Now IT is disappointing. As a driver of autos I can say it works well enough but is disappointing. They told me they reprogrammed the brain at the last service to try to improve some issues. The general moan I would have is that there is delay in shifting and it frequently can't make up it's mind what get to select for me. This has to be because the brain is not as brainy as me! lol Compared to my Jimny's auto the Jimny was way better so assuming they have stuck to the same auto in the new Jimny I can't see how it would be disappointing.facade wrote: What was "disappointing" about the auto?
