I've checked out zookbobs seat plates, I'd like to gain height as well as length. Helijohns tubular design sounds like it gives both but I can't download the photo for some reason .

Jimny ones are extremely simple as the seat is attached from directly above. So you can use square tube to dimensions to suit.
My Junior ones were a nightmare as the bolts attached on an angled surface for the front, a system used on a number of cars I have done.

I tried the switches down on the front of the door pockets above the speaker...very awkward to use....not given in though!

Nice work Keithy,..I'm going to fabricate some box section seat extenders like Helijohns got in his ride to see if my knee clears the switch console....
