Hmmm, that was quick! Ordered this snorkel on Friday, they shipped it Monday and arrived this morning... from ITALY !

I wanted one without a pokey-out head, as it's for the daily driver, so needed to be a bit subtle...

Hmmm... Hang on...

I take it left-hand-drive Jimnys also have the aerial on "the wrong side" too then? D'Oh!

I'll have to work round that then?...

[strike]I've got a new aerial on order[/strike], as I managed to snap it reversing the Jimny into the garage for the front diff change (to correct the gearing), from the BigJimny store of course...

I'm planning on tying a piece of string to the radio end of the aerial and pulling the old one out, and then use the string to pull [strike]the new aerial AND[/strike] a 3 core cable for the light bar and back lights through at the same time...

Then, from an initial look, I'll have to trim the snorkel head around the new aerial whilst fitting it? And seal it with black sealant...

Should be back on this soon :)

I got fed up with snapping aerials so I fitted a piece of copper wire and wrapped it around the drivers side roof rail.
Strangely the radio reception is better than the standard aerial. :)
