Thanks supergaz, but they've offer 3300 for it now so I'll take that.
Is it a big no no to remove obvious things from the car, like the rear spare tyre, the running boards and the rear seats and the radio/cd player? I have removed them to get more value out of the car but is this actually illegal and can they prosecute me for it? Someone I chatted to said this could be the case! The engineer who came to look at the damage only took photos of the damaged areas, I didn't notice him take anything obvious of the rest of the car or the interior.
Advice appreciated!

I'm not sure when it happens eg when you agree the offer or before but I believe the car is now the property of the insurance company so as such you could be on shaky ground.

Yeah I took off all the extras and aftermarket bits, rubber mats. I'm thinking I don't want have them threaten me with court or anything so I should stick the spare wheel and running boards back on to make it look more normal.
Does anyone know about the legality of removing more? I mean removing the radio and back seats should be fine surely especially as plenty of Jimny owners have the back as a big boot...?

If it was insured as a 4 seater, it needs 4 seats or you'll give them reason to reject the claim!
