It's going to be Tuesday now before they are fitted as my sons car has taken priority with the indie. My son has to have his car serviced and MOT'd as he's off to Cyprus on his next tour with the RAF.
Can't wait to try the new tyres out. I'm fed up with spinning the rears when the roads are damp!
I'll try and get the pics up Dan as soon as I can
Yeah get them photos up we should do a Grabber gallery!! :woohoo:
And good luck to your son on tour

My indie said that the Falkens he took off are actually a good tyre, but even though they still had 5mm of tread left they have aged terribly and are as hard as concrete! (Made in 2010).
I was a bit of a sceptic, but the Grabbers have changed the whole feel of the car. It's smoothed out the ride and the death wobble has disappeared (I had the Falkens balanced twice before to try and eliminate the wobble).
The car has also quietened and some sounds that I had become accustomed to, have also gone. It was raining during the run and the wet grip is great. I didn't push the tyres though as they are not scrubbed in, so I will see later on if the very easy wet wheel spin has been reduced or eliminated when pulling away at junctions along with the constant ABS judder during the last couple of metres of braking.
The car is due it's mot in 5 weeks time, I will have another grabber fitted to the spare then. I don't want to wind up the diff because of the different tyre dimensions between the new Grabbers and the 7 year old Dueller that's still on the back door!
Thanks to all on this forum that support and recommended that I fit General Grabbers. I'm a convert

P.S. I couldn't wait.
Once it was getting light this morning I took the Jim for another test drive. Even with brand new un-scrubbed tyres the rear wheels don't readily spin, I now have to make them spin at the junction with my road and I did an urgent stop (not an emergency stop, I'm not expecting miracles) and the ABS didn't cut in! Well chuffed

I was really lucky as they don't rub the mud flaps!
Thanks for the 'Good Luck' Dan. We always fret when he's near a war zone. He works with machinery far faster and more powerful than our Jimnys
Looking good matey.
Might consider a set for this winter to replace my 20k duellers if they will fit a 2013 Jim with no lift etc.
