205/70/R15 are the correct standard size tyre.
205/75/R15 grabbers do fit, but are slightly bigger diameter (about 18mm).
This bigger diameter leads to approximately another 63mm of travel per revolution. So about 3% more.
At an indicated 30mph you will really be doing 30.9mph. Also, as far as I'm aware (or led to believe) car speedos always say you're going faster than you really are!
There again, I could be talking from where the sun don't shine. According to 'she who must be obeyed' I usually am
P.S. I also think that the GG AT2's are an older version. The GG AT's are newer and comply with lower noise regs.

Also .... would a solution be to replace it with a flush head type bolt, and possibly to shorten the plastic spacer by 3-5 mm?
pretty sure you'll not have any issues without spacers fitted, but if you do then shortening the plastic spacer would be the way to go.

Hello, I'm a bit late to this thread but after fitting 205/75/15 grabber At's my speedo is now pretty much spot on when compared to GPS,fozzie wrote: I'm not that good with tyres either, but this is how I look at it.

You are correct the AT2 are the older pattern.
I don't have mudflaps but the car is standard (57 plate with the deeper bumpers) and Ive not had any rubbing issues. I think that backs up what others have said

When I release it, it stays in the pulled up position, but sags down again soon when driving, coming closer to the front wheel again.
I am afraid that the sagging bumper might interfere with the larger 205/75/15 tyres if I fit such tyres.
What could cause the sagging? Could it be that some clips or connections which hold the bumper to the chassis have weakened or got broken? Can they be fixed/strengthened or replaced? Is it hard to remove the bumper and to reinstall it?
