I have an 07 jimny and run 205 75 15 General Grabber I don't have mud flaps, I think you will have to remove them at the front, I can't measure the distance because I have a 3" lift now but they didn't rub before the lift

I have an 08 with 205/75/15 grabbers and no mudflaps. I have no fouling in full lock or full suspension travel, up and down. I tried it with 32mm spacers and it fouled the front bumper in lock
Hope this helps

As you know I have fitted General Grabbers 205 75 15. My car is 2007 has factory mud flaps front and rear. I have measured the distance between the tyre and the mud flap and tyre and front bumper. The car is on standard springs etc.
Front Tyre to mud flap 20mm gap.
Front Tyre to bumper 40mm gap.
Overall diameter of the tyre on the wheel (side to side not top to bottom) is 690mm.
These measurements were taken with the wheels in line with the rears.
The tyres don't rub the mud flaps at any point from lock to lock.
Hope this helps you.

my General Grabber AT2's a while back when originally fitted with 32mm wheel spacers
the front offside mudflap had to be junked as the tyre caught the flap nut on full lock :S
I intended to simply remove the fixing, shorten the spacer and refit .... but after much grief, I resorted to dremmeling out a section of the plastic trim. :pinch:
sob - one mudflap short
if you're careful simply remove and take the spacer out then refit

Thank you both fozzie and Halford for your comments.
fozzie,
your information is very helpful to me!
Halford,
do you believe that your tyres would not have rubbed on the mudflaps (or the mudflap bolt) if you had not had the wheel spacers?
As I do not intend to install wheel spacers (already battling death wobble on stock setup), do you think that 205/75/R15 tyres would rub on the mudflaps (or on the middle mudflap bolt) when no wheel spacers are used?
Also, if that mudflap bolt is the only problem, would a solution be to replace it with a flush head type bolt, and possibly to shorten the plastic spacer by 3-5 mm? My mudflaps were installed during the last spring, so I believe that the bolt and the spacer have not corroded that much to prevent disassembly.
