The Japanese built ones have a large master cylinder, the kit I have does not fit mine, this is required

I doubt this is a bleeding issue. More likely to be seized caliper sliders.

try clamping all the flexible brake pipes off, if no difference the problem is not at the wheels. If the pedal is good release the clamps one at a time to determine which wheel/end the problem is at.Hope this helps :) :)
