Certainly not now that we see it as listed as 2004!!!

Without the cheap car tax the Jimny has nowt of substance going for it apart from subjective desirability. There are other motors of the same/similar insurance group and road fund to choose from before the Jimny.


Eh if you're looking for a small proper off-roader the choice is pretty limited. Of course the average man on the street doesn't care if it has solid axles, body on frame and a proper low range box.

So will I be entitled to question the price on my tax, in guessing I'll need evidence to back me up and also I do to have a clue what I could say? I mean if it shouldn't be 265 a year or 145 for 6montgs what should it be?

I suspect it will only state the date of first registration but there may be a reason why it might state the approx. year of manufacture.

If it only states the first registration then that is the key!

If it was registered before March 2001, 12 months tax would be only £145.00
