I have thought about this a lot, as long as its easily removable for when I go lamping then wont be an issue. Of its a more permanent fixture it may get in the way when shooting from the back. Space is limited in these little machines

My roofs could be permanatly fixed down if you wished. But would lose opening the back or a lock of some sort could be put on the rear but i dont suply any lock as only made one for my self then a few others that wanted them, but always willing to make more, I could supply a blank one for you to fit and make some brackets on the inside to hold it down
here's a couple pics mine old one is with the window its held down at the back with the rubber bonnet clips
the other is want I could supply

its also completely reversible and could change back to soft top in about 15 mins

I absolutely love these roofs, they look amazing. whats the cost of one in the top pic with the clips? I doubt they are cheap but id be very tempted. even if its only clipped on id feel safer having that AND a bolted down box with lock in the back.....plus as I said, they look brilliant. Christmas is coming so could be a little treat
