Given the poor quality materials and workmanship that is typical of eBay exhausts I would go for custom made stainless every time. My back box is on its way out and I will have one made to give a little more clearance around the towbar.
As someone who works in automotive design I can tell you that manufacturers go for the most cost efficient solution not always the best solution, manufacturers prefer smaller diameter tubing because its cheaper.

I've booked mine in for Monday for a new custom built stainless exhaust.
Figured I plan on keeping this Jimny quite a while and enjoying it for off-roading so may as well pay extra for something that will last.

you can also think outside the box, there's no law saying you have to follow the existing route of the exhaust, look what Renard38 did ........ so cool
