Yeah, I'm often complaining about the noise my wife's flaps make when we're going along the motorway in her O2.

jonesyba420, thanks for your advice on how to handle if it is being buffeted by the wind - that's what I was looking for... I love my Jimny, and you all clearly love yours too... but there is no denying that driving it in windy conditions, let alone very high winds, is a disconcerting experience. I went out onto a dual carriageway that I usually avoid when windy last night, it was very stormy. I took the relaxation advice (though I might add, did not stick the legs up on the dash!), it definitely helped... generally getting used to the sensation of being buffeted... In rush hour traffic, it wasn't great, but later, coming home, when the road was empty, it wasn't so bad, because I wasn't afraid of actually being swept into another lane and causing a collision!! As much as I love the Jimny, I will evaluate after this journey. It;s well and good having a cool looking baby jeep - but I need to feel safe for myself and other road users in whatever car I drive!! Thanks for all the feedback. I will report back on how I got on...

the jimny's only a baby jeep in stature alone. in all other respects its up there with the big boys. learn to love the jimny it has so much more ability ( and cred ) than the soft road options for 4wd.

standard jimny - for now
