My O2 soft top was quite stable but sounded worse than it was because of the noise the soft top made in strong crosswinds.

Some Suzukis and a bunch of motorcycles.

I regularly cross the Orwell Bridge (google it) and in very high winds it can be a terrifying experience!!! Gusts can cause the jim to change lanes if your not awake which can be scary when surrounded by lorries also getting blown around! As said already its the fact were in a high sided light vehicle which is the problem so theres not a great deal we can do, wheel spacers may help but probably not much. Best option is relax and try not to over correct/counter the wind as when the wind stops youll lurch sideways.
