How high above the roof line dose a snorkel go? Don't want to mount the awning and then have the two clash when I come to fit the snorkel

theres some pictures in this thread of mine, you can clearly see the snorkel in a few of them.

Looking to buy something similar to that to cover the back of the car

Mainly so i can cook while its raining but i don't want to have a permanent awning there because i dont want to have to use it all the time... The plan is to camp in nice sunny weather! haha
