You never know, maybe the OP will be flexible and maybe like the idea.
And then it is even cheaper to do and a drill and hacksaw is still all that is needed.

Hi guys!
Once again, thanks for all of the responses and suggestions!
I really don't need the seat to be lifted at all, it is only backwards to accomodate more legroom.
I'm still yet to test drive a Jimny, so I will have to do that in the near future and see how comfortable I am without the seat mod first

Well, for what it is worth, I found it cramped sideways and longways and still do. With a coat on I can't shut the door easily though it is better now I am sat in the back seat - almost.
I find it hard to get my arm down to insert the ignition key and the seat belt clip is always taking my jacket with it. And steering it is a bind too as my elbows are stuck in the little gap and I drive with nearly straight arms. Bet you'll love the test drive though!!
