Hi. Is it possible to move the front seats back and up like you can with a defender using mud rails?

I've never heard of it done but understand the need. Jimnys aren't subject of such an aftermarket like Landrovers so it would be some fabrication needed I'm afraid!

I fabricated some brackets from 50x50x5mm tube. Cut into a parallelogram shape it means you can access the bolts easily. You can move the position of the top bolt as far back as you wish as long as you can reach the pedals. Watch height as you need clearance for your knees under the steering wheel. I also added another inch height for the rear brackets. This way you can keep and use the existing bolts lower-to-floor but use longer bolts of your own for the upper-to-seat.

Ok so it's a home brew if I want to do it. Think if I do I will get an engineer to look at my design first make sure it's not dangerous. Cheers for the input.

On Minis and Fords years ago they simply used a bar of steel. ;)
