Is the above wishful thinking? Will i need a body lift as well?
Mine is a 06 plate.
Also with those tyres on how is this going to effect ratio's?

I fitted my 235's when I fitted my 3 inch lift (which lifted it 4 inches) and still needed to trim the arches slightly so you might struggle with a 2 inch lift but it probably also depends on tyre tread design and wheel offset.
The 235's do make quite a difference to the gearing you'll find it a lot slower on the road and you'll probably ride the clutch more off road.

I had them with 2" and trimming and it was fine but burned out a clutch in no time and gearing was terrible till I forked out for a rocklobster get some good smaller tyres the lift and it will do surprisingly well

My cousin has 2" lift, 235/75. On std rims and spacers, it scrubs on the road when turning. Had to trim front bumper, and the rear of the arch, we havnt tried it off road yet as it hasn't been trimmed enough yet.
I'm running a 3" lift and only had to trim the back of the arch, so far no scrubbing at all. :)

Don't use a jigsaw use a 4 inch grinder with a 1mm mettle cutting disc in you will get a much better cut
