200 miles!
Whats the size of the tank?
Apart from a diesel lump, can you make it better? torquer 1 and 2nd gear, and the rest long gears? if that makes sense?

I did 330 miles on £70.00 worth of fuel yesterday of which 70 miles were 'off road' which gives me an average of 28.5 per gallon, pretty pleased with that!

That's the same as me then of about 200 miles a tank
It costs about £42 to fill up from low
£42
----
200 miles
=0.21p a mile
0.21x330=£69.3
So yeah £70 is bang on the same as what I would do

Using mine on the road only i can get 280 if i drive like miss daisy.(brimmed to the light on) = 36 mpg.
It's the off roading in low range that kills the fuel.

Pre lift and standard tyres, 35mpg mixed driving, no off road stuff, for years.
Post lift and 215/75 ATs, 30 mpg with about 1/3rd off road - happy with that, it is still more than me transit!
Wish I could get the 64mpg i got from the Berlingo on premium diesel last week though!
