i am not shore what mine dose as i need petrol ,but i use a lot less than my last one , but by doing a couple of things i get better mpg and my customers do , i use iridium plugs , keep the tyre pressures right , only use SHELL VPower+Nito fuel it gives more power and better mpg , if you look at it weekly it looks more costly but over the year it is cheaper , i also use 0w/2o oil in the engine which suzuki say to use , i have always got good miles out of my vehicles and my customers do to with my tips, i used to have a jeep wrangler tj sahara 4.0l and got 45 mpg

Got my brand new Jimny in October. It was delivered with a full tank and I have just filled it for a few pence under 40 quid. I had covered 270 miles, mixture of urban use, A roads and motorway. More than happy with this and I'm sure fuel consumption will improve as the engine loosens up.

Brand new SZ4, barely run in. Over the running in period (first 600 miles) I've got near as matters 30mpg. That's mixed urban/rural, never over 50mph, never over 3,000rpm, no really steep hills, never more than half throttle.

Which is about what Suzuki claim for the jimny if I remember rightly.

Which is about 2mpg better than I got out of a 300tdi 110 Defender. Though the Jimny being petrol the fuel costs a bit less in the first place.
