I think we need some clarification on this....

do you know whether its:

(a) Vitara Hubs - I know some people have fitted complete hub units from vitaras

(b) Jimny Hubs fitted with vitara free-wheeling units.

If it is (b) then they could not have fitted the free-wheeling units without a spacer.

Thanks for all the reply's which have been very helpfull,
this motor was bought for my wife who's recovering from a stroke,
guys that sold it to me knew it was intended to help her get back behind the wheel of a motor,
sadly this hasn't happened, motors now sitting idle after I replaced it with a yota surf,
it will be properly repaired then sold,good wee motors but this one has sickened me big time.
