If I remove the auto brake adjuster and fit a T Piece would that fail the MOT and would it compromise the braking system?

The auto adjuster appears to be seized and as I never carry any loads in the back I can't see it ever coming into play so would be better without it.

Yes it will fail if you remove it and it probably won't make any difference to the braking but if its been fitted as standard it's got to stay.
It's there to reduse the braking effect to the rear wheels if you don't have any weight in the back to stop the rear wheels locking up.

Thanks for the info.

As I have no back seats the rear is very light and it does lock up the rear wheels as the brakes are heavily biased to the front. Braking hard dives the nose and unweights the back end further! Got EBC Green Stuff pads on the fronts so they are powerful!
