Found i have a seized n/s caliper i'll do the drum after, hopefuly get it done by the end of the night ready for a retest tomorrow
DO NOT USE COPPER SLIP ON THE CALIPER SLIDERS as it swells up the rubber sills and make them stick use normal grease

fail
when you get a retest are you supposed to get a new mot sheet?
also a question to a car mechanic,
if my brakes were 56% out of balance, i found my n/s caliper to be seized and not actually braking, i replaced it with a working caliper and rebled the system breaking by feel has greatly improved and now doesnt drift when braking, i'd expect it to reduce the imbalance by more than 10%
also how many click of the ratchet system does your handbreak have to be, or is a physical measurment in ft/lbs or something else?

Depends how thay test it i check the failurs before clocking on to do a retest if its still fails i wont clock on it other wise if i did and it failed you would then need a full retest check your tyre pressures and did you clean the other side font brake and the click on the parking brake as long as it works and has got reserve traval then its fine
There is a mathamatical equasion to work out brake % as in brake weigh and brake force
