Took the steel wheels that have my mud grips off and put my summer alloys on with my road tyres on, wish I had done this sooner!
Its a whole different truck to drive so smooth and the mud grips are heavy as s**t so sucked alot of power :woohoo:

Saterday, during a beautyfull roadbook, i ripped off my front left extended brake hose (hooked it on a big branch hidden in the mud), luckely we only had to drive around 2 miles to get to the finish.
So we did do a "African-fix" to get there and from there drive all the way back home.
Did orderend a new set today at the BigJimny shop.
During cleaning the brakedrums i noticed another "gift" i got during that roadbook.
An old spike around 2 to 3 inches long, was just between the rubber and the metal canvas.
No puncture, took the nail out and no air did escape, this morning still the same pressure.
Going to repair this and i have a extra spare.

Over the last week been doing king pins and various other jobs. Next will be to clean out brake drums and bleed the brakes, then strip down ready for the front to be welded up. Then I might even get a chance to MOT it and drive the bloody thing again!

Finally got the rusty brake distributor correction braket on. Standard one was rusty as and the bolt had seized.
