i have had it up over the bonnet, but iv got a homemade snorkel, i have axel breather aswell i didnt have any problems just a dirty engine

homemade ? that an idea . i got caught out once coming out of silverton , was in a 205 with k&n and no duct pipe. went slow through the flood !! shame the car coming the other way didnt , which then caused a rarther large wave to enter the engine bay and stopped the NEW engine:sick: .

I had to swim away from an sj once as I drove in a river then the car just nose dived and all you could see was the rear..
took me an hour with just two rachet straps to recover it.:pinch:
On top of that a kingdoms coach pulled up on a bridge to let an audiance of old aged pensioners to watch the whole thing.. Made their day. eventually I sent a friend to get a can of petol and I fed a pipe from it to the petrol pump and off I went.
